tis the season...

I've not been the best blogger lately, but there has been a lot going on! The holidays can be a busy season, especially if you are also trying to promote a business.

I just read this really great article over at Bubby & Bean about supporting local businesses this season. She even had some really cool banners & buttons available, for free (!). I encourage you to check out her blog & read the post, it's a great little story.

I also encourage you to shop local or handmade this year, while it is tempting to do holiday shopping at Target, it means so much more to small businesses if you spend your money there. Plus handmade gifts are way more original than a mass produced dress from target!

Thanks Melissa for the sweet free buttons, remember to check out her blog Bubby & Bean, & her shops Mountains of the Moon & Art Shop

  1. I'm glad to see more and more people moving towards the "support local and small business" side of Christmas shopping and shopping in general. I live in a small town just outside of Vancouver and I will be working hard to support the small businesses there. We just got word they're going to tear up beautiful farm land to put in a giant walmart and Canadian tire so if we don't support the little guys, they will surely be eliminated when this mega-plex is installed. Very sad.

I will be promoting small and local shopping on my blog and will be practicing this myself (as I often do). Thanks for promting and sharing these buttons!
