Sometimes there's nothing like a comfy pair of jeans & a big ole sweater. Also more exciting than my jeans & sweater are the new Steven Freebird boots I am wearing. Pretty much my favorite pair of boots that have ever been put on my feet. Can't wait to wear these puppies in!
Ok well the aren't quite little, or on the hillside for that matter - but they are pretty amazing. We went on a walk through our neighborhood the other day & I snapped some photos of these old houses, full of character. Such amazing colors & attention to detail, old homes like these are my favorite.
I have read a few of David Sedaris's books in the past & decided to put his name on my Christmas list. Matt ended up getting me Sedaris's book Naked.
Most of his work I have read in the past is a collection of short stories about his life & this one proved to be the same. While I don't normally gravitate towards short stories, I loved this book. If you aren't familiar with David Sedaris, he is one funny guy. This book is a collection of stories about his life, & he has this incredible ability to make anything funny - even the death of his mother.
A great casual read, perfect for those who feel daunted with the idea of reading a whole book - you can read a chapter here & there. I literally laughed out loud numerous times reading this, so if you want to do the same, I surely recommend Naked, by David Sedaris!
Happy reading friends. Next up on review will be Under the Banner of Heaven: A story of Violent Faith by Jon Krakauer.
During winter months it's kinda hard to do the whole outfit post thing. It's dark by the time I come home from work & the idea of carving out time before work to go out & take photos is just not happening. So I snapped a few photos indoors the other day.
Oh & our pup Riley also wanted her photo taken...
Isn't she just the cutest?!
Everything but my feet & necklace is American Apparel, since I was headed off to work. That's all, till next time!
