I love love love vintage bicycles. I currently am riding a 1970's kelly green schwinn, equipped with a auto generated head light & great big handle bars. I call her Dorothy because she is green like the Emerald City. I really love her although she is way to big for me (see Dorothy is actually a man, a man's bike that is). So I have been keeping my eye out for pretty vintage girl bicycles...
Take a peek at the lovely photos below featuring some lovely vintage bicycles & some lovely girls...
Mmmm... makes me want to take Dorothy out for a little ride around town!

I totally miss my bike. I took it for granted when I lived with my folks, but now that I live near some great parks, I wish I had it. Womp, womp.

i love these! one of my friends has a vintage bike collection - he even has a vintage tandem bike. i guess i'll have to convince him to let me do a photo shoot with one of them!
ReplyDeleteI want a cute little bike like one of these, but my husband (who rides bikes for sport) insists on trying to get me these city bikes that he says put you in poroper alignment. I say they make me ride around with my ass in the air.
