I am not gonna lie, when it comes to my attire I prefer shadows to fluffy clouds - that is, my wardrobe consists of about 78% dark clothing to 12% light clothing. This isn't to say I don't LOVE color, because I do, sometimes too many colors at once that really don't go together. But, these colors are rich & deep, like plum, cobalt or mustard. I tend to shy away from lighter colors like pink & yellow, especially anything that is pastel. But I love the idea of pastels, they are pretty & light & full of warm springness.
Where am I going with this? I want to try pastels this season. Like not just a little puny pastel accessory, like a whole pastel dress. Just jump right on in, no need to test the waters...
All these fabulous pastels are all vintage & all from etsy. Check em out, & buy something from yourself or maybe buy me something so I can really delve into this whole pastel thing without having to spend any money.
Oh p.s. Spring thanks for the huge blanket of snow this morning - I was not expecting that one!

adorable multi season sweater. My wardrobe is so black I sometimes have to choose what to wear by feel
ReplyDeleteI'm with you- most of my wardrobe is dark colors too so this spring/summer I'm really trying to work in some color.

Pastels can be tough, but I think if you pair them with the right pieces, you can still feel like you're not completely leaving your comfort zone. :) These are great picks!
ReplyDeleteReally beautiful selection.
