books, books, books!

Hi there, I am back. I had to leave internet land for most of the week because my computer was in the shop. $150 & a new hard drive later, here I am! 

Anyways, I want to dedicate this post to one of my most favorite things, books. I love, love, love reading, & while I feel like I have drifted away slightly from my avid reading tendencies, but I am hoping back on the reading rainbow.

    I love this post! I am OBSESSED with books. I don't have a particular favorite, but if I had to pick one right now it would probably be This Side of Paradise by F. Scott Fitzgerald.

    I so understand you and I find it so sad that so many young girls and boys don't really read books anymore! I'm now quickly going through "Grapes of Wrath" and already thinking of ordering another bunch of books from Amazon. By the way, "Catcher in the Rye" is my favorite book!

    I love biographies of royals (and their mistresses!). I am also an unabashed scifi reader. And horror. One of my recent faves is "Let the Right One In". They just made an American version of the movie last year (Let Me In). It's so dark and creepy, and it is not your normal vampire story. No shirtless hot dudes. Though I can see the appeal of shirtless hot dudes, but you get my point :)

    i hate when people say how books are outdated. how absurd!
    if you're looking for a good book i highly recommend 'the book thief' by mark zusak. my favourite book of all time.
